This Brawl Stars Tier List ranks ALL 68 brawlers according to their strengths, weaknesses, and win rates in pro play.

We present to you a Tier List that ranks all Brawl Stars Characters from best to worst. The Brawlers have been ranked in tiers ranging from S, all the way to F depending on their strength, weaknesses, overall game performance, and win rates.

A Brawler is a character that the player selects at the start of every match. Each brawler has a unique set of basic weapons/attacks, abilities, and ultimate. Brawl Stars currently has a large roster of 68 Brawlers.

  • Brawl Stars puts more than 68 playable characters (or “Brawlers”) at all players’ disposal, each belonging to a unique rarity and class that defines their performance.
  • Our tier list ranks the extensive choice palette based on each character’s win rate across the various Brawl Stars game modes, their damage rendering, health pool, attack range, and utilities.
  • Brawlers that fulfill our ranking criteria and are also a go-to choice of most other Brawl Stars players include Janet, Leon, Stu, Byron, Eve, Ash, Spike, Crow, Sam, Buster, and Bonnie .

Byron is THE best healer in the game, plus his star power can make enemy healers useless. His attacks can both deal damage, and heal allies, combined with his long-range he becomes the best carry in the current meta if paired with heavy damage carry such as Ash.

Despite being nerfed, Ash remains the best Chromatic Brawler in the game. He has a large health pool; has no problem running inside enemy teams and filling up his rage. Paired with a healer in the team, especially Byron, their team comp becomes unstoppable and making them the undisputed best combo in the current meta.

On the note of best Chromatic Brawler, Eve can deal great damage over long distances and the big projectile she shoots is hard to miss, along with that, she can also jump away from enemies if they try to burst her and her hatchlings can soak up a lot of enemies’ damage and ammo.

Spike has one of the longest ranged attacks in the entire game, he can heal with his gadget, and control areas very well, spike can do everything; however, he just received some nerfs making him not as good as he used to be, although he is still good enough to remain in S tier.

Crow has always been a strong brawler ever since he was released, and the current meta makes him even stronger as he can counter tanks by cutting their healing in half and slowing them down, he just completely shuts down most meta team comps. The only downside to Crow is that you must be a little skilled at him to use him effectively.

If any of your favorite brawlers are in this tier you don’t have to worry about considering a different main brawler anytime soon.

Daryll is one of the strongest and best chromatic brawlers in Brawl Stars. He can deal large amounts of damage and has a massive shield when rolling, making him very good at soaking up enemy damage. The only reason Daryll is not in S-tier anymore is because of some recent nerfs he received making him not as good however he is still good enough to be at the top of the A-tier.

Pam – Epic

Rico works well in maps with a lot of walls that he can bounce his shots off of, luckily for him, that is most of the maps in ranked right now making him an extremely viable pick.

Gale – Chromatic

Gale recently got a massive buff to his star power that increased its stun duration, paired with the fact that he has always been very good at dealing with close-range brawlers and tanks due to his attacks which can blow them away makes Gale a good choice.

Tara has remained very good for most of the year because of her super that allows her to pull enemies. Most of the brawlers in the current meta are long-range brawlers making her super extremely useful in disrupting the entire enemy team. She is still in the A-tier despite receiving nerfs to her attack damage because what makes her really strong is her super, not her attacks.

Sandy – Legendary

Sandy is a very well-built brawler, he can turn his whole team invisible with his super, he can stun enemies with his gadget, and his regular attacks also deal a fair bit of damage making him suitable for most if not all situations.

Piper – Epic

Rosa has remained a strong tank option in the past and she continues to do so but because the current meta promotes anti-tank brawlers, Rosa has moved down from being an S-tier brawler to A-tier.

Buzz – Chromatic

Buzz has one of the highest burst damage in the game and can quickly outburst most enemies, he does require a bit of patience to charge up his super so if you are a player that can efficiently do that then Buzz is a good choice for you.

EMZ – Common

EMZ has risen to A-tier because strong tanks are just generally very popular in the current meta, moreover, she recently received a second gadget that allows her to shoot through walls. Combined with her fairly long-range, she proves to be a good pick.

Brock – Common

Brock received a rework which gave him an entirely new super and made him better in almost all situations, he can deal lots of long-range damage and control areas very well earning him a spot in the A tier.

Meg – Legendary

Meg has remained one of the best brawlers for quite some time because of her insanely powerful mecha, but unfortunately, the said mecha has received some nerfs making her not as good and moving her down to the bottom of the A tier.

Colonel Ruffs – Chromatic

Colonel Ruffs recently got an attack damage buff and it made him feel way better as a brawler. He can easily deal with 1v1 situations. Plus, once he gets his supercharged, he can buff up himself or a teammate and make them do destructive damage.

Willow – Mythic

This one falls short due to her low health and just enough damage. What, however, earns Willow a place in the A-Tier is the excellent utility she packs with her Super which shoots tadpoles that allows Willow to crowd control opposing Brawlers.

Otherwise, Willow mainly shows offense by installing small puddles on the ground via a lobbying lantern. Such puddles last for as much time as enough to inflict damage over time to any foe who steps inside.

The following brawlers can work in certain game modes or team comps, but they are not a go-to option in the current. They are in the middle of the tier list as we are not actively advising you to refrain from picking these brawlers if you like playing them, nor are we advising you to necessarily pick them every game. These Brawlers can be fun to play and are used by some people but just don’t rely on them for climbing ranked as it is unlikely to work.

Fang – Chromatic

Fang had one of the highest burst potentials and his super allowed him to counterplay enemy brawlers. But he just received massive nerfs moving her all the way down from the S tier to the top of the B-Tier.

Tick – Common

Tick is at the top of the B-tier because of his long-range attacks, and very useful area control potential. He is very good when he has his team present around him, the reason he could not make it to A-tier is that he is very squishy and cannot do much by himself.

Mr. P – Mythic

Mr. P recently received massive buffs making him from one of the worst brawlers to a viable option ranking almost at the top of the B-tier.

Surge – Mythic

Surge has always been a dice roll, while being almost useless at level 1 and S-tier at level 4. His ranking mostly depends on whether he is able to charge his ultimate or not. In the current meta, he is viable against enemies he can get an early advantage against.

Barley – Rare

Barley is becoming a viable option because of the new map rotation which highly favors him. It helps him stay behind cover while dishing out damage.

Griff – Epic

Griff is good at both, dealing with tanks and getting over walls. Moreover, he recently received some buffs making him one of the best in the B tier.

Gene’s super is a very useful and powerful ultimate, but he sometimes carries the risk of pulling in high DPS enemies that can easily kill him. However, if he does not pull them, he struggles to provide enough long-range damage to kill them.

Frank – Epic

Frank is a great brawler on his own, but he is having a tough time in the current meta. Mostly because as soon as the enemy team sees Frank they pick anti-tank brawlers. This makes him a little tricky to play.

Max – Mythic

Nani is great in maps that are a little more open, because of the shape of her basic attacks. She can easily land her attacks and kill multiple enemies simultaneously.

These brawlers are a little better than the brawlers down in the F tier, but they are still weak and not worth using in most cases, especially not in pro play. If you want to pick them for any reason, pick sparingly in other game modes such as normal battle royale, so there is no team that can lag behind due to you playing these Brawlers.

Based on all the information we could find, and first-hand experience; we have decided these to be the worst Brawlers according to the current meta in this brawl stars tier list.

These Brawlers are what you call the bottom of the barrel, they are the lowest of the low in the current meta. It is better to avoid them at all costs in ranked games. Moreover, they are just not fun to play with their gameplay being flawed or very weak.

Edgar – Epic

Brawler Rarity in Brawl Stars

For choosing a brawler to play, the first thing a player notices is the inner rating system for the rarity of brawlers in the game itself. This rarity-based system is classified into the following 7 brackets:

  • Common
  • Rare
  • Super Rare
  • Epic
  • Mythic
  • Legendary
  • Chromatic

But these classifications are not translative to the performance of a brawler in-game. The rarity of a brawler does not decide whether it is a viable option for winning games or not, it is more of an indicator of how unique and beginner-friendly the brawler’s kit is.

Changes Due To Patch Update

Updated Till: June Updates

Recent times have made Brawl Stars undergo more than a few changes to its initial meta. While nerfs and buffs are a standard part of the game updating procedure, Brawl Stars have also welcomed some new additions to its already vast roster. That and all the other changes are:

  • 8-Bit
    • Maximum base HP has been increased from 4,800 to 5,000.
    • Maximum base HP has been decreased from 5,400 to 5,200.
    • Supercharge max ammo has been increased to 4 from 3.
    • The gadget, “Drop The Bass” turret HP has been decreased from 1,500 to 1,000.
    • The gadget, “Drop The Bass” turret HP decay has been increased from 50 to 100.
    • Base damage has been nerfed from 1,000 to 940.
    • Hits to initiate Super has been increased to 7.
    • Maximum HP has been decreased from 3,200 to 3,000.
    • Damage dealt has decreased from 340 to 320.
    • The number of shots required to charge the Super has been increased from 13 to 14.
    • Mecha’s HP has decreased from 4,000 to 3,700.
    • The amount of healing provided by Jolting Volts gadget has been decreased from 450 to 300.
    • Basic damage has been increased from 900 to 940.
    • HP of the Salty Barrel gadget has been decreased from 2,000 to 1,500.
    • Base HP has decreased from 3,400 to 3,200.
    • The duration of the Shell Shock star power slow has been decreased from 4.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
    • Base HP has decreased from 3,800 to 3,700.
    • The duration of the Power Shield gadget has been decreased from 5 seconds to 2 seconds.
    • Damage reduction provided by the Power Shield gadget has been decreased from 80% to 50%.
    • Basic damage per card has been increased from 440 to 480.
    • The number of cards required to charge the Super has decreased from 12 to 11.
    • Mind-controlled enemies will no longer charge their Super from damage dealt while being mind-controlled by Willow.
    • The super range has been increased from 23 to 25.
    • Willow now takes 25% less damage while mind-controlling an enemy.

    • 5-ое место: Эль Примо. Благодаря своим очкам здоровья этот персонаж может выживать в сложных ситуациях, также есть его прекрасный супер, который может спасти в сложной ситуации. Например, вас начинает поджимать противник, а вы используете супер и уничтожаете его (на Шелли с ультимейтом понятное дело прыгать бесполезно). Также Эль Примо укоренился в столкновении благодаря тиммингу. Использование этого персонажа составляет 0,05%. Если же взглянуть на проценты побед, то он выше всех персонажей в этом топе и составляет 60% побед.
    • 4-ое место: Фрэнк. Этот персонаж и раньше был хорошим выбором для столкновения. Его часто берут под закрытые карты чтобы попадать из-за угла или неожиданно использовать супер из кустов. При том теперь его 2-ой гаджет дает дополнительный урон при попадании также как его 2-ая пассивка. Есть и минусы у Фрэнка. При использовании супера его можно сбить (допустим супером джина или его же гаджетом). Процент побед Фрэнка составляет 59%, а его процент использования только 0,1%. Потому 4-ое место.
    • 3-ее место: Леон. И снова к старым друзьям. Да Леон на данный момент сильный персонаж и не только в Столкновении, но и в режимах 3 на 3. Одна загвоздка. Его процент побед составляет 49%, но в кругах топовых игроков он используется часто (примерно 0,14%). Про Леона могу сказать только то, что его супер (особенно со 2-ой пассивкой) очень поможет вам.
    • 2-ое место: Шелли. Опять это происходит. Только Шелли стала лучше благодаря своему 2-у гаджету, как её начали использовать в Столкновении. Шелли вывозит благодаря тиммингу, также как и Эль Примо, но супер также очень помогает ей. Кстати, попытки остановить мету Шелли принимали некоторые Ютюберы (Cube и Brawl Stars MMA). Мета Шелли уже всем порядком поднадоела и пора бы что-то поменять. Немного статистики: процент побед Шелли составляет 56%, а её использование только 0,32%.
    • 1-ое место: Спайк. Маленький кактус смог одолеть мету Шелли и Танков. У Спайка есть сильный винкондишн в виде сильной атаке и быстрой перезарядке. Есть также в нашем любимом Столкновении и тимминг. Да в некоторых катках поднимая кубки на персонажах вы можете встретить трех Спайков, что вынесут вас не заметив. Потому лучше быть аккуратнее и не трогать их до поры до времени.

    Карманный киберспорт: разбор мобильной игры Brawl Stars от Supercell

    Превью MOBA-проекта от креативного продюсера Game Insight.

    В начале июня Supercell запустила в Канаде софт-лонч своей новой игры Brawl Stars, сопровождавшийся стримом от разработчиков. Креативный продюсер компании Game Insight Илья Еремеев разобрался в проекте и выделил его плюсы и минусы.

    Brawl Stars называют MOBA, «Overwatch c видом сверху» и просто «браулером». Каждое из этих определений верно и описывает игру с разных сторон.

    На первый взгляд Brawl Stars выглядит как развитие идей мобильных MOBA-игр: по три персонажа с каждой стороны, короткие — 2,5 минуты — сессии, и 15 героев, каждый со своими особенностями и суперспособностями.

    Есть и серьёзные отличия. У героев не выражены роли, и, как следствие, не развита синергия и комбинации между ними. Предлагаемые режимы игры оригинальны и далеки от классических для жанра. Да и ощущения от геймплея больше напоминают Overwatch, чем DOTA 2 или League of Legends.

    В первую очередь игра адаптирована под телефоны и вертикально ориентирована.

    Геймплей максимально упрощён. В течение матча у героев нет развития, выбора перков, покупки экипировки, точек интереса и прочего, что отвлекало бы от главной и единственной цели — выполнения условий победы в режиме.

    У каждого персонажа есть запас здоровья и три заряда атаки. Каждая атака тратит один заряд, и он уходит на кулдаун. Приходится рассчитывать силы и не выпускать «обойму» в пустоту, чтобы не оказаться посреди схватки безоружным.

    Некоторые компании отходят от фокуса на core-механиках и сосредотачиваются на мете, а Supercell делают ставку на геймплей. Brawl Stars — игра быстрая и ориентированная на навыки. Успех зависит от рефлексов, знания карты и микроконтроля. Важна каждая миллисекунда и каждый градус направления выстрела.

    Людям, не готовым первое время страдать и учиться, тут придётся несладко.

    Кроме того, это командная игра, и успех (а главное — рейтинг) зависит от союзников. Что будет причиной серьёзных «возгораний». Хорошо, что в игре нет чата.

    Хотелось бы отдельно отметить карты. На них нет линий атаки, они асимметричны, состоят из блоков и кустов, в которых игроки прячутся от врагов. Часть блоков разрушается суперспособностями.

    В игре две схемы управления.

    • Джойстик для перемещения и тап по цели для атаки.
    • Тап в точку для перемещения и свайп в сторону цели для атаки.

    Обе одинаково ужасны: игра плохо обрабатывает неизбежные двойные тапы, целиться свайпами сложно, пальцы закрывают экран, в итоге часть времени борешься с игрой, а не с противниками. Негативное впечатление усиливают сильные лаги, из-за которых в час пик играть невозможно — канадские сервера далеко от нас, а игра такого жанра чувствительна к пингу.

    Неудобное управление — одна из главных проблем игры.

    Ивенты и режимы игры — одно из наиболее интересных и свежих решений проекта. По мере прогресса и разблокировки новых героев (за 3, 5 и 8 персонажей соответственно) игроку становятся доступны четыре слота ивентов. Ивент — это сочетание режима и карты. На него отводится несколько часов и назначается награда за участие. Первый слот — 80 монет, второй — 40, третий — 12 и четвёртый — 20 монет + удвоенный опыт.

    Награда выдается за участие, победу, получение героем нового уровня и статус самого результативного игрока матча — Star Player. При лимите награды можно продолжать играть в режим, но больше ресурсов не добыть. В игре четыре режима и по три карты для каждого из них.

    Вариация на тему Team Deathmatch. Отличие в том, что с каждым убийством игрок получает «звёздочку» и награда за его голову становится выше. Убивая врага с большим количеством звёзд — приносишь команде больше очков. Побеждает команда, набравшая больше звёзд к концу матча. Это вносит дополнительную динамику и остроту в стандартный режим, и, хотя и добавляет элемент случайности, но делает матчи богаче на драматические ситуации.

    Сражаются две команды. В центре карты находится шахта, которая на протяжении всего матча раз в 5-6 секунд выбрасывает по кристаллу.

    Кристалл может подобрать любой игрок. Над головой персонажа указано, сколько кристаллов он несёт. При смерти персонаж выбрасывает накопленные кристаллы, и их могут подобрать как противники, так и союзники.

    При наборе одной из команд более 10 кристаллов начинается обратный отсчёт, если команда удерживает первенство в течение 15 секунд, она побеждает.

    Этот режим ещё драматичнее и непредсказуемее, преимущество постоянно переходит от одной команды к другой, что к концу матча доводит напряжение до максимума.

    Режим, наиболее близкий к классическим MOBA, только игра идёт «в одни ворота».

    Первая команда атакует сейф на базе врага, а вторая защищает. Если атакующим удалось разрушить сейф за отведённое время — они побеждают, не удалось — побеждают защитники. В какую команду попадёшь — решается случайно.

    Из-за асимметричности Heist считается самым несбалансированным режимом в игре и вызывает споры в комьюнити.

    Да, в Brawl Stars есть свой Battle Royale — ультрапопулярный жанр больших игр, рвущийся в мобильные. Кроме того, это единственный не-командный режим в игре.

    10 героев, ящики с бустерами атаки и здоровья на карте и сужающееся кольцо ядовитого газа, сгоняющего выживших к центру карты. Чем дольше остался в живых — тем выше награда. Последний получает прибавку к особой графе в профиле.

    15 героев и четыре редкости. Есть как классические архетипы, например — девочка, вызывающая огромного медведя, так и оригинальные, вроде мексиканского скелета-гитариста. У каждого героя свой запас здоровья, суперспособность, сектор и дальность атаки.

    Это всё, чем они отличаются. Но есть нюансы. Герои способны разрушать блоки на карте, кидать бомбы через препятствия, ставить турели, а кто-то лечит напарников. Но назвать это классами или ролями в полной мере нельзя. В первую очередь персонажей определяет дистанция — ближний, средний и дальний бой.

    В этом ещё одно слабое место игры. В отличие от Clash Royale и других MOBA, в Brawl Stars нет комбинаций и контркомбинаций, нет стратегии, глубины.

    За победу в матче герой получает очки рейтинга и повышает ранг при достижении порога. В случае проигрыша герой теряет рейтинг, но ниже текущего ранга упасть не может. Рейтинг игрока складывается из суммарного рейтинга всех его героев.

    Заработанное в ивентах золото тратится на сундуки, из которых выпадают герои или эликсир для повышения параметров персонажа. Если достался герой-дубликат, он будет сконвертирован в фишку, аналог звёздной пыли из Hearthstone. За фишки покупаются ещё не полученные герои.

    Но оцените масштаб: одна победа приносит в среднем 10 монет, сундук стоит 100. Фишка выдаётся, если выпал уже имеющийся герой — редкие герои стоят по 70 фишек, а эпические по 600. Гриндить на эпического героя придётся почти месяц чистого времени.

    Что значит ШД

    Создатели игры предусмотрели функцию 3V3. Она представляет собой особую форму тиминга. Последний присутствует в большинстве игр, но в Бравл Старс он сильно отличается.     Лучшие связки для ШД

    Связки бойцов используются для облегчения победы. Каждый участник имеет свою роль. Отдельного внимания заслуживает “бегун”. На его роль стоит выбирать бойца, принадлежащего к классу “Тяжеловес”. Альтернативой является герой с высокой скоростью. Благодаря им выживает команда. Такие персонажи убегают и выживают. Быстрый боец отлично подходит для сбора трофеев. Остальные герои будут нападать и отводить босса от бегуна.

    Простые связки состоят из нескольких классов персонажей. Heavy впитывают урон, защищают и продлевают жизнь команде. Ими являются Буллочка и Эль Примо. Damage Dealer наносят урон, но обладают плохой живучестью. Healer и Support помогают уничтожить противника или исцелить команду. К ним относятся Пэм и Поко, а также метатели Динамайк и Барли. Подбор связки зависит от режима игры.

    Бой с ботом

    При захвате кристаллов нужно быстро или моментально убить противника, чтобы успеть перехватить инициативу. Шансы на победу увеличатся.

    Для “Боя с боссом” понадобится бегун. Самой интересной парой является Карл, Буллочка и Пэм. Связка сумела побить все рекорды и пройти наиболее сложный уровень режима. Пэм исцеляет Карла, а он бьет противника о стенку. Буллочка уничтожает мелких роботов. Однако сейчас такой фишки у Карла нет.

    Пары для ШД требуют слаженной командной работы. Ниже представлены лучшие связки для парного столкновения.

    Барли и Динамайк

    Если рядом находится стена, можно закидать Булла. Тогда получится его отпугнуть или убить. Стоит опасаться Эль Примо.

    Рико и Кольт

    Персонажи имеют одинаковые ульты. Они позволяют расстрелять Шелли с 10 банками. Хорошо подходят для захвата кристаллов, но должны остерегаться метателей.

    Пэм и Поко

    В сложный момент игры они могут отрегенить друг друга. Однако некоторые геймеры предпочитают связку Фрэнка и Поко.

    Леан и Вораан
